Faults and responsibilities

Today I recorded my video again from the rooftop of the barnhouse, during a lull in the cold storm... 

Also, one of our friends who followed this entire story wrote me, telling me that at the end it is the Faerie Princess - Annelies - who must recognize her fault, her wrong, her responsibility, in this story; and that it is not really the role of Red-Oak to do that.

My answer is that, if Annelies could do that easily, she would have done it 7 years and a half ago, or 6 years and a half ago. But she did not.

If all this time passed, it means that the wound is so deep, the knots are so tangled, that it is not entirely within her hands to melt them.

Of course, the simplest thing would be for the Faerie Princess to just say all the truth out loud. But she does not (or at least, till now, she did not do it). 

And considering that Annelies wants this reunion to occur as much as I do, it means that if she did not do it yet, too strong a force prevents her from doing it. 

The knot is of course related to her childhood trauma, and the (wrong) choices of her parents.

Had I not been directly harmed by their choices, I wouldn't allow myself to express a judgement. Yet, what happened six years and a half ago is a direct consequence of having harmed their daughter who was an innocent and highly sensitive child. Therefore, I hold them responsible.

Also, without entering into details publicly, Red-Oak used his face, his name, and his reputation to do what he did.

Therefore, he kind of decided, with this inconsiderate act, to carry the burden of the responsibility of what happened afterwards.

This is why, according to me, according to all what Annelies told me directly and indirectly, in the past, and in the present, I believe that at least some of the keys to unlock this hidden door are with Red-Oak.

Of course, we can discuss of whether the chicken appeared before or after the egg did. If a hurt child blames her parents for her wound, perhaps her parents too will want to blame their own parents, and so on. Each person will try to reject responsibility over the older ones, perhaps. 

Or, most people just accept grayness, expecting nothing else from life, making their life and that of others gray. 

But the Faerie Princess is not a gray person with a gray heart. Her dreams are vivid and colorful, and so are mine. What her parents did was wrong. I saw the panic in her eyes, and she clearly told me from where that panic came. So, the only possible way to heal is to hold those who created this panic in her responsible.

Not in an unkind way. Yet, in a firm way.

Annelies will recognize the truth openly. But first this panic in her must heal. One way to make this panic heal is to reach to the heart of Red-Oak and make him change attitude toward Green-Rose. 

That is my bet.
