From the rooftop of the barnhouse / 26th of March

I recorded my video from the rooftop of the barnhouse today and kept it short because I want you, dear Red-Oak to watch again the video of yesterday, showing you our house, and the video of three days ago, where both my parents appeared, showing you the unity of my family, when it comes to the question of Annelies and me.

Also, today there was another good news for Lebanon. The Prime Minister (Nawaf Salam) who was a judge in the Netherlands (presiding the International Court of Justice of The Hague) has announced today the first plan to build a new civilian airport at the North of the country. We now have one international airport, in Beirut. Having a second airport will allow for more tourism, and to economically develop the North of the country. You can read this article about it: https://www.businessnews.com.lb/cms/Story/StoryDetails/12368/DAR-launching-study-of-Rene-Mouawad-KleyatAirport

Lebanon is a small country (a bit more than 10 000 km2) and that is the reason for which it had only one airport. For years they were speaking of building that second airport (where a small structure already exists), but because of the economic crisis, political problems and geopolitical tensions, nothing was done.
Now for the first time in a long time, we have a very serious President and Prime Minister, who are well-respected by the international community, and that will mean very positive development for the country in future.

Also, as an interesting anecdote, it is the civil engineering company where my brother works that will do the preliminary study of the construction of this airport. But he doesn't know yet if he will personally work on this project.

Also, you can read "Piece of Correspondence", a private post I've written to complement what you read about, that I as always sent to Red-Oak directly: https://amchitdordrecht.wordpress.com/2025/03/27/piece-of-correspondence/
