Today I showed you all the medlar trees of the garden, most of which I planted. It's a long and interesting video. The medlar are covered in fruits, that I need to protect from birds. I plant them for their delicious fruits, to produce nespolino (an italian recipe of liquor with the medlar fruit seeds that taste like bitter almonds) and for the flowers of the medlar that bloom in the fall, which is really good for bees.
