It is the season of loquat fruits. I, by mistake, used to call them medlar fruits, as there is an ambiguity in the translation from French or Italian to English. Nèfle / Nespola translates to medlar or loquat, which in reality are two different fruits. The correct word is loquat. I have many loquat trees I planted myself more than a decade ago. I pick 2 - 3 kgs of loquat fruits every two or three days...
